Import Export Code Renewal
Did you know, You must renew your IEC certificate every year between April and June to keep it active. Non-renewal will lead to deactivation, which can prevent you from conducting import-export activities until you update it. The renewal process is a mandatory annual update of your details with the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT).
The deadline for the annual update of an Importer Exporter Code (IEC) is June 30th, occurring each year between April and June. This annual updation is mandatory for all IEC holders and must be completed online through the DGFT website even if there are no changes to the company's details. Failure to update the IEC before the deadline will lead to its deactivation.
